Indianapolis is home base for us, and it's where Korr Floors got its start. The city's housing stock is genuinely varied: classic bungalows and older two-stories in neighborhoods like Irvington, Broad Ripple, Fountain Square, and Meridian-Kessler sit alongside newer downtown condos and infill construction. That mix means we see a wider range of flooring conditions here than almost anywhere else we work.

Older Indianapolis homes in particular tend to bring two recurring situations: original hardwood hiding under decades-old carpet that's often salvageable through refinishing rather than replacement, and subfloors that need real leveling or repair work after generations of settling and prior renovations. We treat both as normal, expected parts of an Indianapolis project — not surprises that blow up your budget mid-job.
